An important movement is going on right now to keep the film industry tax break in place. Currently the application for next year is with Governor Corbett. Why this is important is because this break creates incentive for the film industry to shoot in PA. Without that incentive, film companies will take their work to another state with tax breaks in place. This in turn will cost a lot of people to lose their income in which case they'll have to find other jobs putting more stress on any already stressed unemployment sector. To find out more and to contact your local representative, please visit the Pennsylvania Film Industry Association homepage. Thank you for your support!
